Peters: “We are motivated by how the victory came in Game 3”

THE Olympic hosted tonight (20:45) at “Ulker Sports Arena” by Fenerbahce in Game 4 of the Euroleague playoffs series, two days after the huge victory of the “red and whites” for 2-1.

Speaking to Nova’s camera, Mr Alec Petersstood on his big three-pointer Kostas Sloukas, which as he pointed out gave big boost in the team, while he stood in tonight’s crucial game.

Peters’ statements in detail:



“I think I’d pick us to win by 20 points, but it definitely gives us a boost how the win came in Game 3. You have to understand the alternatives. If Sluka’s shot didn’t go in, we’d all be sad, there’d be silence. Slukas made a big shot, and we made some great baskets at the end. That’s why this victory became a little better for the rest and we are ready and focused for tonight’s match.

It helps a lot to have your best players at their best towards the end of the season. We needed that from everyone, not just our best players. Many came out ahead in Game 3, in many different ways. We hit a lot of big shots because it’s just that big players make big plays. We will need this in the fourth match as well.”
