Chris Coleman made statements after the victory of Atromitos over Panaitolikos.
The coach of Peristeriotas emphasized that he maintains that his team has a winning mentality, while he added that this year the goal, which was the improvement of the team, has been achieved.
His statements in detail:
“Today we did very well, we had a very good performance, like against OFI, Ioannina, Ionikos, I leave aside the game against Levadeiakos. I think that in the play out tournament only in the second half against Lamia we did not have the performance I would have liked. Today especially we had a very good performance and we deserved the victory”.
What does he hold apart from the three points and the good performance: “The positive thing I keep tonight and overall during this play out period is the mentality of the winner and the fighter that we show because the play out tournament is difficult. Remember last year, we were very low and had to fight to stay in the division and it was a very difficult process. This year we entered the play outs first but with the disappointment of not being able to enter the play offs and that was difficult. Nevertheless we coped and that is the mentality I want us to keep of the fighter.
In the first half of the season we were in the play off teams, due to some details we were not able to reach the goal we had. But above all, for me, the goal was to improve, to be better than last year, and we have achieved that.”
