How are you experiencing this year? Your first in the first team of Olympiakos with 25 appearances in the Championship, Cup and Europe.

“This year was something unprecedented for me. I went up to the first team and after a while I fell into the deep end, since my second game was against Qarabag.”



How easy or difficult was it to switch positions and establish yourself as a central defender from a defensive midfielder?



“In the beginning it was something difficult for me, but with the help of the coach and the support of my teammates I managed to cope and get to where I am now.”

In the summer when you were preparing, did you expect that the year would turn out like this for you?

“No, I didn’t expect it at all as I was training with the B team and after some months the decision was made to be on the first team roster.”

Sokratis Papastathopoulos had praised you after the match in Baku. How is your collaboration and how much did his presence help you?

“My collaboration with Sokratis is perfect. He is the main player who helped me learn this position and I am grateful for that.”

Who were the people who helped you the most to get to where you are today?

“First of all, my parents helped me get this far. Then, my first coach, Nikos Fouskas. Of course thanks to Mr. Mitchell for putting me in the first team.”

There are two games left to complete the season, against Panathinaikos and PAOK. How do you expect them and what should the world of Olympiakos expect?

“As Olympiacos, what we want is to show our best and of course to win for the world of Olympiacos.”
