Patrice Evra, who just a few months ago had done the shocking revelation in view of his upcoming biography, that he was sexually abused when he was 13 years old, he now came forward and talked about one of the biggest taboos in football, emphasizing that at least two footballers per team are gay and they hide it!

Speaking to the French newspaper ”The Parisian”, the veteran defender of Manchester United -among other things- on the occasion of the release of his book ”I Love this game” in French, he answered questions posed to him by newspaper readers, one of which was about homosexuality. He argued, therefore, that there are many footballers with different sexual preferences, something that scared to admit.

“When I was in England, they brought a person to talk to the homosexuality group. Some of my teammates said during this speech: “It is against my religion, there is a homosexual in these locker rooms. He has to leave the club! At that moment I said: “Stop it all. Do you understand?”. To put it another way. “There are at least two players per club who are gay, but in the world of football, if you say so, it’s over,” he said.
