“End” of an era for Stella Christodoulou at Olympiakos. Erasitechnis announced Wednesday the departure of its former women’s volleyball team captain after 12 years at Rentis, thanking her for her service and her contribution to the 17 trophies the department won in her presence.
In detail, the announcement:
“3/8/2011. A… simple date, then, for Olympiakos. However, 12 years later, this date will remain indelibly etched in the history of the Legend women’s volleyball team. The day Stella Christodoulou officially wore the red and white shirt! Twenty years old at the time, with the whole future ahead of her, Stella ‘moved’ to the big port. Neither she nor anyone could have imagined what would follow. Eight championships, eight Cups, one European, the historic Challenge Cup of 2018. Total, 17 trophies, to Olympiakos’ total of 18 in the women’s volleyball division!
Stella Christodoulou achieved everything at Olympiakos. She honored our club and the captain’s armband, she also gave her soul on the pitches! An iconic leader, an outstanding human being, with dignity, Stella completed her successful tenure at Legend.
