The title will be decided on the 34th and last matchday Portugal.

THE Benfica found the courage to come back from 2-0 down and make it 2-2 in the away derby with Sporting Lisbonresulting in its difference from Porto to be two degrees.

The “lions” went into half-time with a two-goal lead thanks to goals from Trincao (39′) and Diomande (44′), with Oursnes reducing the deficit in the 71st minute and Neves redeeming his side in the 4th minute of stoppage time.

Now, Benfica is definitely crowned champion with a victory at the expense of Santa Clara in the last matchday.

As for Sporting? It finished 4th and lost the chance to enter the Champions League qualifiers.

Earlier, Guimaraes beat Gil Vicente 1-0 with a goal from Silva at 90+3′ to climb back up to 5th place, while Casa Pia and Estoril were tied at 2-2 (85′ pen. Cardoso, 90+6′ pen. Godwin – 74′ Casiano, 90+8′ Alvaro) in a match with an improbable finale.
