Juventus penalized with 10 points deducted – Here’s the score!

by

The punishment of Juventus by the Court of Appeal of the Italian federation became known. In particular, the Old Lady was given a penalty of ten points deducted by the court for the “plusvalenze” scandal and effectively appropriated the prosecution’s proposal for -11 (just deducting one point).

Juventus have now dropped from 69 points to 59, sending them from second to seventh.

In theory, Juve could launch another appeal, but given the latest attempt agreed the club had breached Article 4 – which covers fair play and sporting integrity – it is unlikely to be successful.

This is the third time the FIGC Federal Court of Appeal has ruled on this situation. The first time was in May 2022, when a total of 11 clubs (Juventus, Napoli, Genoa, Sampdoria, Empoli, Parma, Pisa, Pro Vercelli, Pescara, Novara and Chievo) and 61 managers sat on the bench.

Juventus partially won an appeal in April that agreed the 15-point penalty was too harsh and sent it back to the FIGC Court of Appeal for a third ruling.

However, in the end the penalty was reduced by just five points and the Bianconeri were penalized with -10.

The new rating from 1 to 8:

1. Napoli 86

2. Lazio 68

3. Inter 66

4. Milan 64

5. Atalanta 61

6. Roma 59

7. Juventus 59

8. Monza 52
