The end of her collaboration with Yannis Petrakis announced on Wednesday night (24/05) o Levadean.
With her announcement, the administration of Boeotians thank you the 64-year-old technician for his presence and what he offered to the team, stressing that despite the relegation to the second division, they wanted to continue their collaboration, however, some personal reasons of the Greek coach brought the “divorce”.
Levadeakou’s announcement in detail:
“PAE Levadeiakos announces that our collaboration with Mr. Yiannis Petrakis will not continue.
Mr. Petrakis, together with his colleagues, stood out during his presence in our team for his morals and hard work.
Despite the common desire of both sides to walk together, personal reasons of Mr. Petrakis do not make it possible.
Levadeiakou’s family thanks him for his important contribution and wishes him health and every success in the continuation of his career.
As he himself mentions in his statement, we are not saying “goodbye”, but “see you again”!
In turn, Mr Yannis Petrakissaid goodbye to the Livadia team, stating that personal reasons led him to the decision to leave the “helm” of the club:
“Thank you very much to the management for giving me the opportunity to work in this group and first of all to Mr. Kombotis for what he has deposited and collected first as a person and then as a president, for the perfect cooperation we have had all this time.
I want to thank the people who were with me in the team, partners, staff and players, as well as the people for the respect and support they showed us.
What happened was very unfair based on how the team is structured as an organization but also as an image we had on the pitch. But things are moving forward, the team has created the bases and conditions for its quick return to where it belongs.
Despite the strong desire of the President and me and everyone around the team to continue together, personal reasons do not make this possible.
Even though the time was short and the result was not what we wanted, it will remain with me as one of the nicest experiences on the route I have done.
Thank you for everything and see you soon.”
