“I’m following the right process, I’m halfway through my recovery and I’ve already started to increase my pace and intensity. My knee is behaving well day by day.

We are happy with the progress of the recovery, next week I will have a minor operation for the stability of the knee, it is something in the program not something new. I’m fine and I want to come back as soon as possible.”

On what the doctors have told him about his return time:



“I really hope that when the season starts I will be ready to help the team.

I’m already in the fourth month after the operation, usually this injury takes six to nine months to come back and for the leg to be completely healed.

So far with the data we have, I will return to the shorter interval than what is usually given, but we can’t be sure, we don’t know how the leg will behave. So far everything is going according to plan, within the next two months I want to enter the field, enter the training process with the team and help them.”

For Tolis Terzis:



“He deserves this opportunity, he works very hard and he is a person who, personally, helped me a lot with his presence.

“It will be easier for me, at first it was difficult because I came from a completely different league, but now I know the league and my teammates and also my team and it will be much easier for me, I wish and hope that everything will be fine with injury and I want to show the world what I’m capable of.”
