by

End titles in his great career Angelou Tsami.

The 42-year-old guard who “ploughed” the Greek stadiums and not with his presence in Olympiada Patras, AEK, Kolossos Rhodes, Limoges, Promethea Patras, Cholargo, Achaia ’82, Apollo Patras and Mykonos, communicated via social media his decision to end the his career.

His message in detail:

“He had dreams, doubt, joy, sorrows, pain, obstacles…He had friends and “friends”…He had support, glory but also disappointment, discredit…He had love and smiles…He had more and I had everything I call these Basketball and life, my own life…

The time has come to close a cycle of life, which started from the small closed town of Kato Achaia, led me to Patras, Athens, my beautiful Rhodes, traveled to distant Limoges and ended up in wonderful Mykonos…

I thank my parents, my brother Thanos and all the people who followed me from the beginning of this journey and those who are not with me now for various reasons…

I also owe a big thank you to the teams that made me a member of them, to the coaches for who I am on and off the field, to the countless teammates and opponents who pushed me to become a better player..

I want to say one more thing… And to light the way for just one child, it was worth it to become what I became… Thank you!”
