Rangers acquired a goalkeeper from the “top shelf”.
The Scottish runners-up have made their second transfer addition as they have signed young right-back Dijon Sterling from Chelsea and experienced goalkeeper Jack Butland on a release from Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old English international, after the end of his loan at Manchester United, did not renew his contract with the “eagles” of London and on Tuesday afternoon (7/6) he was in Glasgow where he successfully passed the medical tests and then signed four-year contract with Rangers.
The Scottish club is the ninth stop of Butland’s career, after Birmingham, Cheltenham, Stoke City, Leeds, Barnsley, Derby County, Palace and Manchester United.
?? Rangers Football Club are delighted to announce the pre-contract signing of Jack Butland from Crystal Palace.
Jack will officially join the club on July 1, on a four-year deal, subject to international clearance.
