PAOK women’s handball European matches in Lefkovrisi

The women’s handball team of PAOK will play its important European matches at the stadium of Kozani, as was clarified and decided on Sunday in the meeting with the head of the department, Dimitris Hasekidis, with the responsible administrative and sports factors of the city in Western Macedonia.

The discussion between the two sides took place in an excellent context and Mr. Hasekidis referred to it. “We as PAOK are very pleased with the results of the meeting with the Mayor of Kozani, Lazaros Maloutas and the president of the Organization, Zisi Mara. We are pleased to announce that the women’s handball team of our club, which participates in the EHF European League, declares as its headquarters the DAK Lefkvrysis Kozani, a stadium that is a jewel on a pan-Hellenic level.

I thank, from the bottom of my heart, Mr. Mayor, Lazaros Malouta and the President, Zisi Mara, both for the immediate reaction – approving the request we declared as PAOK, and for the cordial meeting we had at all levels regarding sports and not only. Now, we invite all the sports fans of Western Macedonia, and especially the fans of PAOK, based in Kozani and the surrounding areas, to support our team and the sport at the Lefkovrysi Sports Club of Kozani.

I believe that in the matches that we will play, the stadium will be full. I hope and I am sure that the rest of the organizations in the region, such as the Region of Western Macedonia, the local community in general and the businessmen of Kozani will see this specific project in a positive spirit and will help to the extent that is appropriate for them”.
