The Denver Nuggets coach made his first statements as a champion. Mike Malone.
Clearly pleased, the 51-year-old was not satisfied with the celebrations, but made it clear that the next goal for his team after winning the summit, is to create a dynasty!
“Par Riley had said something many years ago that I had written on my board in Sacramento. He talked about the development in basketball and how you go from being a nobody to becoming a winner, a title contender and a champion. The last step after winning the championship, is to build a dynasty. We achieved something that the team had never achieved before, but we have a lot of young and talented players and I think we showed with our 16 wins in the playoffs what we are capable of. I love all my partners. Thanks to my parents, they mean everything to me. I thank my wife and daughter”the Nuggets coach said.
