Tsimikas: “I’m living my dream in Liverpool”

by

Interview with a Japanese Media that works with the Liverpool Kostas gave Chimikaswith the international full-back declaring himself a “scouser” and at the same time referring to his football career so far.

The most important thing for me is to be a good person, to be happy and to live my life. As they say, you only live once, so you should live your life to the fullest and every moment as if it were unique. I remember when I was 3 my mother enrolled my brother in a football academy and I was crying with a doll in my arms. Since then, she used to say that I played football with her. As a footballer, I changed many places. My parents and my brother sacrificed a lot for me to be where I am now. Here in Liverpool I’m living my dream“, initially said Tsimikas.

He added: “Honestly, when I was a kid, my dream was to grow up and play at the highest level, in the best league, with the biggest team. This dream came true through hard work. I’ve always been humble and down to earth, I’m 100% the same person. I think this is very important and here in Liverpool I am enjoying every moment. Besides, I’m a Scouser now. I am the only Greek in the team and of course I represent my country. I want to make the Greeks even more proud and win more trophies with the team. Every time I wear the National and Liverpool shirt I get goosebumps and I do everything possible to make them as proud as I can».
