Djuric returned to the National Team three years after the “goodbye”!

Dimitris Djuric returned to the National Team, three years after the last time! The 34-year-old had retired from the National Team three years ago, affected by a serious injury, however he returned to the calls of Dante Bonifande, for the preparation ahead of the European Championship (28/8-16/9).

The first stage of the preparation (28/6-16/7) will take place in Kalamata, where our representative group will face the Algerian team in friendly matches between 13-16/7.

for the first stage of preparation the Federal technician Dante Bonifande has invited the following athletes: Giorgos Petraeas, Dimitris Tzourits, Theodoros Voulkidis, Demosthenes Linardos, Markos Galiotos, Apostolos Petsias, Matteo Hasballa, Thanasis Protopsaltis, Raphael Koumendakis, Alexandros Raptis, Spyros Chandrinos, Spyros Hakas, Giorgos Tzioumakas, Dimitris Mouchlias, Angelos Man teller , Aristides Chandrinos and Dimitris Tziavras.

The second stage of preparation (from July 20 until the departure for Eurovolley) will take place in Athens and there will be added other athletes who will be invited by Mr. Bonifande, while the schedule of the friendly matches will be announced in the following days which will be given by the national team.

We remind you that the European Championship will be held in Italy (Group A), Bulgaria (Group B), North Macedonia (Group C), Israel (Group D) with the Greek team in Group D where, apart from Israel will also face France, Turkey, Portugal, Romania.

1st group (Italy, Rome, Perugia, Ancona): Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, Germany, Belgium, Estonia

2nd group (Bulgaria, Varna): Bulgaria, Finland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Croatia, Spain

3rd group (North Macedonia, Skopje): North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark

4th group (Israel, Tel Aviv): Israel, Romania, France, Turkey, Portugal, Greece
