Vouros: “I signed the document that the final of the Conference can be held in New Philadelphia”

One more step to make his final Conference League of the 2023-24 season in OPAP Arena!

The mayor of Nea Philadelphia-Nea Chalkidona, Yannis Vouros revealed on Tuesday (13/6) speaking to ERA SPORT that the signing of documents by the Municipality with UEFA, in order to certify that the final can take place there, has fallen.

Vouros gave an interview regarding the “magical” season experienced by AEK, where he revealed the information that he signed the relevant document required, which certifies that the Municipality meets the conditions for the final.

In detail what he said:

For the Conference: “After the 2nd-3rd visit of the UEFA echelon I signed the relevant document, which states that the municipality can host the Conference League final. We toured the whole municipality in order to see the specifications of the flexible hospitality for the final. We did everything necessary before the stadium was certified as four-star.”

For this season of AEK: “The whole team was loved because in every game you found your own MVP and that made up the sense that has been recorded this year as a team. I experienced up close a family with discipline, seriousness.”

For Matias Almeidas: “Matias Almeida is a philosopher. It’s zen where it needs to be and active where it needs to be.”
