The last major distinction for the Women’s National Team was in 2017 where they took 4th place in Prague with Penelope Pavlopoulou at that time being in America and watching from afar the efforts of the international athletes. “I watched the matches from America and as long as the National Team continued to win and bring one victory after another, I felt a great pride for this team. I dreamed of playing for the National Team as well. And now of course we feel proud to claim our entry into the octet and at this moment we are living it with our soul. Let’s give it our all in a game with no tomorrow».
