Egaleo… zero hour, with the western suburbs team facing the crossroads of being sold or disbanded!
At least this is what emerges from today’s announcement by the Paltoglou family, owner of PAE Aegaleo, after the end of the season…
The relevant announcement in detail:
“After the end of the Super League 2 championship, the Paltoglou family, as a major shareholder of PAE AEGALEO 1931, announces the following:
We took over the team from A local Athens that was in danger of further relegation to the B division.
During all these years the team rose and remained in Super League 2, having secured a license this year as well and without owing a single euro to players, coaches, the State, IKA, staff and third parties until 30/6/2023.
We declare that the time is now ripe to step down permanently and irrevocably from ownership and management of the team.
To this end, we grant the majority package of our shares to healthy investors – like us, after all – and announce that the person responsible for the negotiation and final transfer of the majority package of shares is the current legal advisor of PAE AEGALEO 1931, Athens lawyer Theoharis Grigoriou.
In the event that the purchase and sale of the Limited Company is not achieved within a reasonable period of time, we will proceed to close and dissolve PAE AEGALEO 1931 according to our crystal clear professional logic.
A big thank you to the healthy fans of our team and Door 12 is our internal moral obligation.
