A decade ago, Mr Victor Fisher was hope for his future Ajax and her national team Denmarkhowever the 29-year-old today midfielder never lived up to expectations.
Play of course Middlesbrough, Mainz and Copenhagenbefore going in 2021 to Antwerpwhich in turn lent him to AIK Stockholm on February.
Now, twelve appearances and two goals later, the Swedes aren’t… burning to keep him, though they don’t want him back in Antwerp either!
The Belgian champions are even presented as negative in the possibility of terminating the loan of the once international Dane, asking the AIK people to find his next team – although Fischer has a contract with Antwerp until 2025…
In the midst of all this, the coach of the Swedes was asked about the case and answered how “it’s our sports director’s job, me I don’t even know where Fischer is currently”.
It turned out, after all, that the 29-year-old footballer was at a music festival in his hometown…
AIK’s manager earlier today: “Not even I know for sure where he is [Viktor Fischer] is. That is a question for our sporting director. We will see.”
