After Silvio De Souza and the renewals of Toliopoulos and Sanogo, the Mars also announced the acquisition of Dimitris Katsivelis.
The 32-year-old guard returns to his hometown, Thessaloniki, after his stints at Mantoulidis and PAOK. Last season, the international ace played in Kolossos, averaging 7.7 points, 4 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

KAE ARIS announces the acquisition of Dimitris Katsivelis for the 2023-24 season.
Dimitris Katsivelis was born on October 1, 1991 and with a height of 1.98m, he competes in the guard positions. His basketball career began with Mantoulidis, where he remained until 2010.
In the summer of 2010, he signed a multi-year contract with Olympiakos. He remained in the Piraeus team for five years and won the same number of titles. In the 2015-16 season he played in AEK and the following season he moved to Kazakhstan and Astana, with whom he won the double.
In 2017-18 he returned to Greece on behalf of PAOK and a year later he signed for Prometheus Patras, where he stayed for two years. In the summer of 2020 he returned to AEK and in the 2021-22 season he competed in Peristeri. Last year, he moved to Rhodes on behalf of Kolossos and now belongs to ARIS.
