Reinforcement with Kerlidis for PAOK

Elena Kerlidis became a PAOK handball player on Friday. Erasitechnis announced the acquisition of the 23-year-old international right winger for one year, so that the champion can strengthen the flanks of the attack and maintain the achievements in Greece.

For the last two years, Kerlidis has been competing in AESH Pylaia.

“PAOK and the women’s handball department, PAOK mateco, announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Elena Kerlidis, for the 2023-2024 season.

Born on 23/10/2000, Elena Kerlidis plays as a right winger and is 178cm tall.

She took her first steps in handball at Filippos Verias, where she got her first performances from women’s handball.

Then followed a two-year (2017-19) in Nea Ionia, with which she entered the atmosphere of the championship, despite her young age.

The two years 2019-21 found her again in Imathia, this time with the jersey of Veria ’17. With the Veria team, she competed in the league and cup finals, while also competing in the EHF Women’s Cup.

From 2021 to 2023, he came to Thessaloniki for the first time on behalf of AESCH Pylaia. There, he performed excellent individual performances, which contributed to the club’s historic third-place finish in the league.

She is an international player with the women’s national team, in which, in fact, she is the main cog in her position, while with the national beach handball team she won the World Championship in 2018, as well as the Mediterranean Games in 2021.
