Euro K19: Premiere with… the right for “wild” Portugal

Spray, wipe and finish immediately with Poland n Portugal. The Iberians found no resistance from the “eagles” and with a goal at the beginning of each half, prevailed 2-0 at its premiere Euro K19 of Malta.

In the competitive part, Portugal’s first chance brought a lead with the Brass to head after a corner kick for 1-0. Typically the visitors kept control of the game as Poland kept the defense behind the axis looking for the counter-attack.

In the second half the game became tougher from the Poles who tried to respond with their strength to the talent of the Portuguese. At the completion of one hour of competition, Hugo Felix he took the ball and after making a terrible feint of “clearing” the opposing defender, he slotted into the opposite corner with the ball first finding the post and then ending up in the net for the 2-0.

Poland missed a chance to pull one back in the 80th minute when Pienko’s terrific shot was parried by Ribeiro, while something similar happened four minutes later when Fale saw Zych make an impressive save from his spot-kick.
