Giorgos Bartzokas is awarded the title of Best Coach of the Basketball League for the fourth time in his career, but for the first time as coach of Olympiakos. The 58-year-old coach was named Coach of the Year in his “maiden” season as a head coach in the Championship, in the 2006-7 season, when he was at the “helm” of Olympia Larissa.
He was also named Coach of the Year in the 2009-10 season as coach of Amarousiou and in the 2011-12 season when he was at the “helm” of Panioni, he shared the title with the late Dusan Ivkovic, whom he “succeeded” in the following season in ” bench” of Olympiakos.
