KAE ARIS announces the acquisition of Roberts Blumbergs for the 2023-24 season.
Roberts Blumbergs was born on April 29, 1998 in Latvia and is 2.08m tall. plays at the power forward position.
He started his career with the Artland Dragons, where he played in the 2016-17 season. From 2017 to 2019 he attended Grand Canyon, playing for the local Antelopes.
In 2019 he returned to his native Latvia and signed for BK Valmiera. In the 2020-21 season he moved to BK Liepajas lauvas and in 2021-22 he played in the Spanish Palencia Baloncesto.
In the summer of 2022, he agreed with the Romanian BC CSU Sibiu, in which he had the best season of his career, scoring 15.4 points on 53% from the field and 44.6% on the three-pointer, 5.72 rebounds, 1.17 assists, 0.78 steals and 0.5 blocks.
