Alexandra Borizovska will play for PAOK until the end of this season. The Amateur “Dikefalos” announced the acquisition of the 27-year-old regional defender from Northern Macedonia for the club’s handball team, in order to help her win the double.
Borizovska competed in her hometown of Kumanovo last season.

“PAOK and the women’s handball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Aleksandra Borizovska, for the rest of the 2021-2022 season.
Born on 23/03/1995 in Kumanovo, Aleksandra Borizovska competes both in the periphery and as a left winger, and is 170cm tall.
She started her career with the team of her hometown, Kumanovo, in the 2012-2013 season, in which she stayed until the 2020-2021 season.
With Kumanovo, Aleksandra Borizovska won championships and cups, while she recorded several participations in European competitions. In fact, in the double of the 2020-2021 season, she was the leader and the one who contributed the most, in order to win both titles.
In terms of her individual distinctions, she has been named MVP of the Skopje championship, in the years 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
The start of the 2021-2022 season found her for the first time outside Skopje, competing in Croatia, on behalf of Umag, with whom she made excellent appearances, however the situation in which the Croatian club found itself could not keep many of its athletes, with resulting in them looking for other destinations.
She is international with the national team of her country, with which she has played in qualifying phases of all major competitions.
For the beginning of her cooperation with PAOK mateco, Aleksandra Borizovska stated on the official website of the club, acpaok.gr: “I really liked the perspective of PAOK mateco, because I saw the way the team works. Both the game systems and my teammates are great. PAOK mateco is the first team in Greece in recent years and this means that there is professionalism at all levels.
