Teams will enter a battle of a… mini-league, where they will play a series of matches and advance or be eliminated based on their ranking. Specifically, the number of participants will increase to 36 from 32 in all competitions.
Initially, at Champions League and to Europa League each team will play eight matches in the first phase. According to her calculations UEFAthe specific phase of UCL and UEL will be held from September to January.
At the same time, at European Conference League each team is expected to play six matches in the first phase. This phase of the “championship” will last from September to October, during which the group stage of the competition is also being held.
The three competitions will have an exclusive match week, with the other two competitions not being played that week. In other words, one particular week we will have only Champions League, another only Europa League and still only one Europa Conference League.

Months ago, UEFA announced changes to the… changes it had in the pipeline for the Champions League.
The European federation, which in such matters has shown that it has flexibility, passed new regulations in the top interclub competition. First of all, we start from the regulation with the… wild cards, i.e. with the fact that the UEFA will offer places to two groups at Champions League and the right to compete in it, provided they have not secured a ticket from their league.
In fact, the federation in its announcement mentions specifically where the tickets will go to the extra four places that will be opened in the event (36 out of 32 teams will participate).
