Another transfer in the handball department was announced by Olympiacos, as it strengthened under the rafters, acquiring the 22-year-old international goalkeeper, Panos Papantonopoulos. Details of the duration of his contract have not been disclosed.

“OLYMPIAN S.F.P. announces the start of his collaboration with Panos Papantonopoulos. The international goalkeeper (DOB 2/10/2001, 1.98m) signed his new contract and joins the roster of the club’s handball team.
Panos Papantonopoulos, a member of our National Men’s team since 2019, started his career at Diomedis Argos in 2016, where he played until 2021, while the last two seasons, he spent in Spain, wearing the jersey of Andemar Leon. At national level, the 22-year-old goalkeeper has been through all our “small” teams, apart from the Men’s.

This, in itself, pushes you to think only of success! I thank the people of Olympiakos, who trusted me to fight for the two titles in the new season. Olympiacos should only be at the top”.
