Official: Slaftsakis is on Mars again

Diamantis Slaftsakis was born on July 27, 1994 and is 2.01m tall. plays at the power forward position. The 29-year-old ace returns to ARIS, to which he offered his services from 2018 to 2021.

Slaftsakis started his basketball career in Chalkidona and the Mantoulidis Schools. His first professional “roof” was KAOD, where he remained from 2012 to 2015.

In the 2015-16 season he moved to Amaliada on behalf of Koroivos and a year later he wore the jersey of Apollon Patras. In 2017-18 he played in Trikala, while in 2018 he wore the yellow and black of ARIS for the first time. In fact, he collaborated for the first time with Giannis Kastritis in the second half of the 2018-19 season.

In the summer of 2021, Slaftsakis signed for Kolossos Rhodes and last year he played for PAOK, before returning to “Nick Galis Hall” on behalf of ARIS.

The new ARIS athlete has a rich presence in the “small” National Teams. Specifically, he competed in the 2010 U16 European Championship, the 2012 U18 European Championship, the 2013 U20 European Championship and the 2014 U20 European Championship.
