Valencia announced Cassius Robertson

Her player Valencia for the next two years he officially became the Cassius Robertson. The “Bats” announced his acquisition, highlighting his explosiveness in scoring.

Coming off the best season of his career, the Canadian guard scored with the Obradeiro, in the Spanish league, 17.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, recording 14.3 points in the evaluation system, on average. He was, in fact, in third place among ACB scorers, behind only Sean Montero (17.6 points) and Shannon Evans (21 points). He did, however, start last season in Italy and Reggio Emilia (9.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists in 11 games).

The 29-year-old point guard began his career at Canisius College in Buffalo (2014-17), moving on to the University of Missouri for the 2017-18 season. He then played in the 2018 Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks, failing to find a spot in the NBA. Thus, he came to Europe for the first time on behalf of Bayreuth, a little later. In 2019-20 he played in Italy with Fortitudo Bologna, serving his first spell at Obradeiro until 2022. Returning to Galicia in November 2022, after a 3-month stint in Italy. He also spent a very short time with the Scarborough Shooting Stars and the Canadian league last May (3.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 8 games).
