Stelios Seirekidis is the new coach of the AEK women’s handball team. The Union announced today (17/7) the start of its collaboration with the 61-year-old technician, who succeeds Yiannis Andalis at the “helm” of “Dikephalos”.
The experienced coach, who this year worked at Anagennisis Artas, said on the website of the Amateur AEK after the formalization of the agreement: “It is my pleasure and honor to work with the AEK club. A club that always aims for the championship. The women’s handball team also has its own vision and through hard work, we will create a strong team to reach the highest step. At the same time, I would like to thank Mr. Papastamati, as well as Mr. Papahartofylis for the trust they showed in me. And of course, I call on the valuable fans of the team to support our effort».

AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Stelios Seirekidis. The 61-year-old (24/08/1961) Greek coach will be at the “helm” of the AEK women’s handball team.
Stelios Seirekidis is one of the most important coaches in the history of Greek handball. He has won two championships with PAOK, a double with Filippos Verias, but also a double with G.E. Verias. Last year he coached the women’s team of Anagennisi Arta, which had a great season in the A1 National Division. Also, it is worth noting that he has also achieved historic exits in Europe, such as qualifying for the Champions League Groups.
