Donnarumma: ‘I was helpless, tied up – I was more afraid that they would tease my fiancee’

by

For the scary moments that he and his fiancee, Alesia, experienced, at the hands of robbers who broke into their house, Gianluigi Donnarumma spoke.

Her goalkeeper Paris Saint Germain he ended up tied up inside his Paris home, with the thugs forcing Alessia to show them where the valuables were.

What he said in detail:

“It’s the worst feeling you can have. Suddenly finding people at your house at three in the morning.

I was immobilized and Alesia was forced to give up whatever valuables we had. I can’t give too many details as there are ongoing investigations. There was a lot of fear.

I was helpless, tied up, unable to do anything. We don’t speak French either so it was even harder to explain where things were. And Alesia was with them, very frightened.

Most of all I was afraid that they would tease her. We had to leave the apartment for investigations, we stayed in a hotel.”
