After spending a year in France, Mr Yves Pons he will have to look for a new group again.
THE Villerban officially announced that the club have parted ways with the 24-year-old after reaching an agreement by mutual consent. Pons still had a year left on his contract with the French club, but the new season will find him elsewhere.
Earlier this season, Pons expressed his displeasure with his playing time. The talented forward said he never received any explanation as to how the What Jay Parker divide the minutes between the players.
“I asked myself the same questions and didn’t necessarily have answers. It’s been that way all year. Like I said, these are things I can’t control. Every time I get a chance, I give 100%. Afterwards, it’s true, I was completely confused, wondering why I didn’t have more time.”the former Villeurbanne player specifically stated at the time.
In 30 matches in EuroLeague last season, Pons averaged 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds for a 3.1 PIR.
Yves PONS quit the club, an agreement was reached between LDLC ASVEL and the player to put an end to the contract that binds them.
