“Panathinaikos A.O. announces the start of its collaboration with coach Giorgos Souliotis for the women’s basketball coaching team for the 2023-24 season.
Giorgos Souliotis takes over the position of assistant coach of coach Elenis Kapoyiannis in the women’s department together with Thanos Konstantopoulos.
Last season, Souliotis was the coach of the women’s team of Proteas Voulas, while at the same time he is a professor of physical education at the College of Athens.
He also has many years of experience in the infrastructure departments and has been an assistant coach in the National Youth Team (U18) from 2017 until 2020.
In a statement to pao1908.om he said: “It is a great joy and honor to be at Panathinaikos. The way of approaching the people of the team and coach Capoyannis, as well as the goals of the team made me immediately respond positively to the proposal of cooperation. I am excited to be here and I wish through the hard work we will do all year to achieve our goals and for our Panathinaikos to be at the top”.
