AEK announced Margaritis, Galanopoulou

On Wednesday, Maria-Kasiana Margariti and Theofania Galanopoulou became AEK players. The Union announced the acquisition of the 16-year-old international with the Junior National Team and the girls of the same age with the same representative group, with both winning a few days ago the bronze medal with the representative group in the European Championship of their category.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Maria-Kasiana Margaritis. The 16-year-old athlete signed her contract and joins the club’s women’s polo team.

Maria-Kasiana Margariti has worn the cap of Panioni and Olympiakos, competing in the age championships. She is an international player with the Junior National Team, celebrating the bronze medal in the European Championships in the past few days.

After the formalization of the agreement, Maria-Kasiana Margariti said to aek.gr: “I am excited for my new beginning as this year I will compete with the cap of AEK. New horizons now open before me and I will give my best, in cooperation with my teammates and coaches, to help the team achieve its goals.

I am very happy that we won the bronze medal with the National Team. Hard work and unquenchable passion paid off. It was a special honor for me to be a member of the National team and to represent Greece in this event. Both the team and the coaches were united and determined to achieve the best we could.”

Theofania Galanopoulou has competed, among others, in Aris Thessaloniki, National Piraeus and NO Larisa, counting great experiences from A1. He is an international player with the Junior National Team, winning the bronze medal a few days ago at the European Championships.

After the agreement was formalized, Theofania Galanopoulou said to aek.gr: “I am excited about my new challenge and my transfer to AEK. It is an honor to play for such a respected and historic club. I am willing to give my best in every game and training, contributing to the team’s effort for success. I am sure that with the support of my teammates, the coaching staff and the fans, we will be able to achieve our goals.
