Kings GM on Vezenkov: ‘Of the players with the highest IQ, he will fit our offense perfectly’

His eulogy Sasha Vezenkov said the Sacramento Kings GM, Monty McNairwhen he was asked to comment on his team’s moves in this year’s offseason!

After stating that he is very pleased with his acquisition of the former Olympiakos player, he described him as an incredible shooter with the ability to cut to the basket, while mentioning that he is among the players with the highest IQ and expressed his belief that he will fit perfectly with the way he attacks his team!

“I’ll start with the fact that he is the MVP of the Euroleague. In the best league outside the NBA, Vezhenkov was the MVP. His team had incredible success, both in their domestic league and in the Euroleague. He’s an incredible shooter. It feels great. He can pass the ball. Can cut to the basket. He’s going to be a great fit, I think, in our offense.”he initially reported and went on to say:

“He’s improved as a rebounder. One of the highest IQ players we’ve seen. Finally, I’ll say it’s a winner. He wants to win. He cares about it. It will be a different challenge for him, coming here to the NBA. And I know he’s excited about this transition and his adjustment, I think he has a chance to be really special.”.
