She said that the bride and groom were from Araxá, her city in Minas Gerais, but the party was in São Paulo. So several friends were in town and urged her to go. Therefore, the artist called the bride and asked if she could come.
“I asked for her number. I called and said, ‘Hi! You must be putting on your makeup, getting ready. So, let me tell you, everyone is here and I’m coming to your wedding!’ and I started laughing. And she said: ‘No, no’. I said I would, and she said no. And explained: ‘Today is my day, we are not very friendly and there will only be my friends. You , like it or not, is a well-known person, I don’t want to have the attention divided'”.
Even with the refusal, she went to the party and had to hide several times. In the end, she was even teased by the mother of the bride and, after what happened, they became friends, according to Mariana.
But, on Twitter, the actress’s story did not go very well. Netizens criticized her and wrote that what she did was disrespectful.
“Absolutely in shock at the report. There is nothing ‘outrageous’ about it. It lacks politeness and respect, to say the least,” said Arielle Sagrillo.
