His son fell victim to the attack by Croatian and Greek hooligans in New Philadelphia Achillea Kourepias revealed by the former president of Amateur AEK.
In fact, through his relevant post on Facebook, he emphasized that his child miraculously escaped.
In particular, he mentioned that his son was repeatedly hit by the hooligans, as a result of which he was seriously injured, while he publicly asked “thank you” for the help of all the doctors.
“Today Aris was released from the hospital after 10 days. He was the most seriously injured from the events of New Philadelphia. He miraculously escaped. I feel the need to thank Divine Providence, all the Red Cross staff for their attention and care and all of you for your love and support. Now begins a long period of physical and mental rehabilitation. To the parents of the deceased Michalis, I can only wish courage and strength.
PS Watching the video of my child’s brutal beating, in addition to the disgust I felt as a person and as a father, I feel a great shame as a Greek, that the 150 Croatian hooligans who traveled 1400 kilometers from their homeland to come here to beat and to kill, they were armed with munitions of war by their like-minded Greeks“, he pointed out in his relevant post.
