It caught fire in the rainy Da Cape and Feyenoord celebrated its first victory of the year, in the 3rd matchday of the Eredivisie.
In a game that was called off with ‘good morning’ due to rain for an hour, Arne Slott’s side stormed to take the first three points after two draws.
In particular, the storm led to an interruption only in the 8th minute, however Feyenoord had already managed to take the lead from the 4th minute with a goal by Santiago Jimenez.
The two teams were back in action an hour later, with Almere wasting a great chance and the hosts “responding” with a goal from Paisao in the 10th minute.
Heertruida made it 3-0 at halftime, while Wiefer in the 50th minute and Jimenez in the 65th minute brought the score to 65 minutes. The visitors fell behind in the 89th minute with a goal from Van de Camp, but Timber extended the gap again with a goal in the 93rd minute, making the final 6-1.
