Against Portugal for the first European victory for the national team

Her Portugal is facing today Men’s national volleyball team for the 3rd matchday of the European Championship groups (Friday 1/9, 19.00 ERT-3)

The ‘blue and white’ come off the back of their opening defeat to Israel and aim to right their wrongs against the Portuguese, for

to celebrate their first victory.

In fact, there is a mini-marathon coming up. After two days of rest, our internationals will face Portugal (Friday 1/9), Turkey (Saturday 2/9) and Romania (Sunday 3/9), while after one day of rest they will face France (Tuesday 5/ 9).

Portugal have one win and one loss in the two games they have played so far in the competition, as they won 3-0 sets against Romania in the opening game, while in the second match they were defeated 3-1 by France.
