Already most of the fencers have returned from their summer holidays and are in a period of preparation ahead of the start of the competitions. The Hellenic Fencing Federation wishes all athletes a good start to the new season.
As in the 2022-2023 period, from September to April there will be three graded Panhellenic cups in the individual of each weapon for each of the five age categories: Pampaides/Pagorasides (U13), Teenagers/Neanides (U17), Young Men/Young Women Women (U20), Men/Women, Veterans.
After the completion of the three cups, the corresponding pan-Hellenic championships will be held between January and June with individual and team competitions in each weapon.
As well as the national, European and world championships being the target events, the new season will conclude with the top event of all, the Paris Olympics, with the fencing events taking place at the Grand Palais between 27 July and 4 August.
