Stevan Jovetic was announced yesterday by Olympiakos, with the 33-year-old striker making his first statements as a player of the red and whites.
The Montenegrin said that he is excited and said that he will give everything on the field.
His statements in detail:
“I’m very excited, I’ve heard so many great things about Olympiakos and that’s why I came. It’s my first day here, so I’ll need time to see everything. I have talked to many players who have played here and some of them are still playing now.
I saw the facilities and the pitch which is very important to me. And I really liked it because it shows that it is a big club. Last year I came to Athens for the first time with a friend of mine and we were talking about the case of Olympiakos and then he came.
I like Greece, I like Athens, it’s an amazing city to live in, for my family. So I’m very excited. I don’t like promises, it’s easy to talk. I’ll show it on the field.
I saw the games and the results, they were very good. I am happy for this. I will do my best to help the team.”
