In one of the most powerful bad weather that the country has experienced, the bad weather Danielas noted by the National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr, with daily rain levels in central Greece far exceeding previous records, at least since 2006.

The highest daily amount of rain up to 8:45 pm is recorded at Zagora Pelion and is equal to 754 mm. The previous daily rainfall record of 644.7 mm was recorded in Paliki Kefalonia during Mediterranean Cyclone Janos in September 2020.

The highest amounts of rain in millimeters until 8:45 pm, as recorded today by the network of weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens, were also recorded in Portaria (613 mm), Volos (393 mm), Agia Larissa (213 mm), in Pezoula of Karditsa (174 mm), in Halki of Larisa (165 mm), in Xanemos Skiathos (159 mm) and in Gonnos of Tempo (143 mm).

However, it is clarified that the weather stations in Zagora, Portaria and Volos they stopped broadcasting at about 6 pm and in Xanemos Skiathos at 10.30 am, due to a power cut. Rainfall in most areas continues.
