Basketball Cup: Postponement of the matches of the teams from the affected areas

The EEC announced the postponement of four matches for the 1st matchday of the A’ phase of the Men’s Hellenic Cup. These are the matches between teams from the regions of Thessaly that were affected by the floods. In fact, the specific teams have the option not to participate in the specific matches at all, without suffering the sanctions provided for in other cases.

We inform you that due to the extreme weather conditions that have prevailed in the region of Thessaly and due to the difficulties that have arisen the matches

MGS Panserraikos – AS Anagennisi Karditsa

GS Niki Volou – CHANTH

JE Larisa – BAS Ag. Barbara

for the 1st matchday of the A’ phase of the Men’s Greek Cup are postponed.

With the proposal of the Championship Committee to the Board of Directors. of E.O.K. and only for the specific teams, those who wish not to participate in the matches in question will not be subject to the sanctions provided for in the relevant announcement.

Also, due to the 24-hour pan-Hellenic strike announced by the PNO and after an agreement between the groups:

The APA Naxos Ta Fanaria-EFAO Zografou match for the 1st matchday of the 1st Phase of the Men’s Hellenic Cup, instead of 13/9/2023, will be held on 14/9/2023 at 15.00 at CG Naxos “D. Peristerakis”.

The match AE N. Kifissias-ASA Anagennisi for the 1st matchday of the 1st Phase of the Men’s Greek Cup, instead of 13/9/2023, will be held on 16/9/2023 at 17.00 at the “D. Vikelas” Stadium.
