In less than a year the Stefanos Duskos will have the opportunity to defend the medal he won in rowing in 2021 in Tokyo. The Greek champion referred to his difficult quest to earn a place at the Paris Olympics in a post on Instagram and promised to show up ready to do his best. However, he did not forget the Greeks who are being tested by the floods.
“I thank God for helping me qualify for the Paris Olympics. Fourth place is a difficult position, the bronze medal was only 0.23 fractions of a second away in a very difficult race, however I am equally happy with the race I had and the qualification I managed to claim. Paris is just around the corner and I will be more ready than ever! Thank you all so much for your support and positive messages. Unfortunately, our country is going through difficult times, I would like to give courage and strength to the families affected by the disasters and mourning their own people“, he said.
