Duskos: “Paris is close and I will be more ready than ever!”

In less than a year the Stefanos Duskos will have the opportunity to defend the medal he won in rowing in 2021 in Tokyo. The Greek champion referred to his difficult quest to earn a place at the Paris Olympics in a post on Instagram and promised to show up ready to do his best. However, he did not forget the Greeks who are being tested by the floods.

I thank God for helping me qualify for the Paris Olympics. Fourth place is a difficult position, the bronze medal was only 0.23 fractions of a second away in a very difficult race, however I am equally happy with the race I had and the qualification I managed to claim. Paris is just around the corner and I will be more ready than ever! Thank you all so much for your support and positive messages. Unfortunately, our country is going through difficult times, I would like to give courage and strength to the families affected by the disasters and mourning their own people“, he said.
