Bourousis: “The next day is difficult, we will only play for Karditsa this year”

“We will fight to return to our home, wanting in this way to give joy to our tried fellow citizens. The strength of ASK is Karditsa, for that alone we will play this year…“, says the veteran center, who participated as a volunteer in many actions to relieve the affected.

Bourousi’s post:

Thessaly, and especially our region, have been experiencing very difficult times in recent days, with lives being lost from the flood, entire villages disappearing and properties being lost. I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and hope that time will ease their pain.

I also want to publicly thank the volunteers, the security forces and the army units, for their continuous effort and contribution that saved lives. I was personally by their side as a volunteer participating in rescues and admired their self-sacrifice.

The next day is very difficult for our region. We must all stand next to our fellow man, offering what we can to offer them security, but also hope for the future.

I also want to thank ESAKE and the teams of the Basket League, for the support and interest they showed from the first moment, facilitating A.S. Karditsas Japan in the upcoming championship. Our stadium was badly damaged, but we will fight to return home, wanting to bring joy to our struggling fellow citizens. The strength of ASK is Karditsa, for that alone we will play this year…
