Stop… Genoa for Napoli!

by

He touched the big upset, but finally left with the point (2-2) from Genoa n Naples! The “partenopei” found themselves with their backs against the wall, after the Genoa led 2-0, but in the final they drew.

His team has 7 points Rudy Garciawhich started with 2/2 but in the last two matches he has no victory, with his counterpart Alberto Gilardino to have 4. At the same time, it maintained the improbable tradition that Napoli has built recently, going 12-6-1 over the past decade against the Genoese.

The first part is fully balanced, with the Naples in control but unable to break down the well-established Genoa side, who looked dangerous when coming out in the final third of the pitch. Somehow, Mr Bunny in the 40th minute he turned De Winter’s assist into a goal for the Genoese’s lead, which he extended shortly after the start of the second half (56′) Reteghi with a close finish (2-0).

Garcia dropped Raspadori, Olivera and Caiuste into the match, Napoli had a more rational arrangement, while Politano’s entry made his team more dangerous. Despite this, the Italian champions were finding it difficult to find lanes towards Martines’ goal again.

In the end, two of the French coach’s changes combined and brought… a result, since in the 76th minute Caiuste played vertically for Raspadori and he with a “dry” shot reduced for his team. Eight minutes later, Zielinski with a wonderful ball exposed the opposing defense and found the back of the Politanowho shot from inside the area to beat Martinez for 2-2, which stood as Fabbri’s final whistle.
