Specifically, a 57-year-old friend of the English team was attacked by about eight people and the moment he was on the ground he was stabbed on the back and arms.
As reported, the police immediately arrived at the scene, the Newcastle fan was taken to hospital and his condition is stable, while his family members are also traveling to Italy to be by his side.
