Dimitris Manos is officially in Chania


Chania completed their great transfer for this season. The Cretan team, with a statement issued, formalized the acquisition of Dimitris Manou, who left Bandimarspor and last season wore the jersey of Ionikos.

PAE CHANIA is pleased to announce the acquisition of 29-year-old striker Dimitris Manos.

The new acquisition of our team has important performances and a lot of experience from Super league 1, where he has played in 134 games and scored 14 goals, while in total in his career he counts 253 matches and 67 goals.

Born in Imathia on September 16, 1994, he started his career in Veria. With the “Queen of the North” he turned professional at the age of 17, while with their shirt he played in 26 games and scored 1 goal. In 2015 he came to Crete for the first time on behalf of Ergotelis, with whom he played 18 matches and scored 6 goals.

He then returned to Veria for a semester, with OFI being his next stop in the summer of 2016. The two years in the “black and whites”, who were then playing in the Football League, were the most productive of his career as he scored 37 goals in 59 games. goals and handed out 15 assists. Especially in the second season he was excellent and with 27 goals and 10 assists in 29 matches he led OFI to Super League 1, while he himself was transferred to Olympiakos. He stayed in Piraeus for 6 months, where he managed to play in 9 matches and score 2 goals, before being loaned to PAS Ioannina (15 appearances, 3 goals). He was then loaned to OFI (32 appearances, 3 goals), while in 2020 he moved to Aris where he also performed very well. With the “yellows” he played in 64 matches recording 9 goals and 6 assists.

Last year he moved to the second division of Turkey for Bandirmaspor, where he played in 12 games scoring 2 goals. In January 2023, he returned to Greece on loan for Ionikos, with whose shirt he made 10 appearances, while he recently terminated his contract with the Turkish team.
