Messi revealed his thoughts after his retirement from football

by

In the show “Sone que volaba”, Lionel Messi spoke and, among other things, referred to his decision to continue his career in MLS, his daily life in the USA and, of course, his thoughts when the moment comes to retire from active action.

Excerpts of what the Argentinian star told Miguel Grana

On his decision to move to Miami for David Beckham’s team: “There are people who have followed me all my life, who know me. You can tell when I’m happy on the pitch. The idea was to start decompressing a bit after so many years of career, to enjoy somewhere else. And that’s exactly what I’m doing here now.”

About his daily life in Miami: “We get up at 7 with the children, have breakfast and sometimes I take them to school and sometimes not. Then in the group, we start early. We make our plans. I train and come home at one in the afternoon. We eat there, I rest a bit and then I watch TV: series, movies, whatever. Then we deal with the children and I train again.”

For his future, when he retires from active action: “It’s a job. I’m lucky to be doing the job I love. Although I have responsibilities and goals, it’s something I enjoy doing. I don’t know what I’ll do next. I’d like to be a sports director, or be with kids, and teach them things about soccer.”
