And yet the Zeljko Obradovic he would have to go through an interview for the managers of a team to determine from the NBA that he has the resume and possibly the skills to be able to work in it.

This was revealed by the Serbian coach of nine European championships in an interview he gave in which – among other things – he also answered a question if at some point he was interested in a team from the other side of the Atlantic to work with him.

I never got a specific offer from the American League. At one point an NBA general manager asked me to go through an interview. I didn’t understand exactly what he meant. I knew journalists were interviewing”were the words of Zotz who then recalled when he had been for a period of about a month with the Detroit Pistons.

“I watched their program, the way they work and their training. It’s the best league in the world. I have copied quite a few things from the way they work there. As they have done the same by studying European basketball. There I saw how they train in the morning. From 11 to one in the afternoon. Then I thought “but why are they training at such a time”, but finally I realized that… it’s convenient. And the players, but also us coaches”concluded.
